Single: UGLY

Release information for the GazettE’s single, UGLY.

UGLY was released in two versions: a Special Limited Edition Version featuring a two-track CD and a DVD with the PV, and a Regular Edition featuring a three-track CD.

Note:

  • This is the first instance where the same cover art was used for both the limited/special edition and regular edition. This also appears to be the point at which they stopped referring to “Optical Impression” and “Auditory Impression” as the CD+DVD and CD-only versions respectively.
  • The album artwork for UNDYING, DOGMA, and UGLY are parts of one larger picture (below). All three pieces are the work of artist Tobias Kwan (Motherland Chronicles).

  • Red was used as the September ending theme song for NTV program “Happy MUSIC,” Sapporo TV’s “What’s New? Cute,” RKB Mainichi Broadcasting’s “CHART BUSTERS R!,” and Kumamoto Prefecture TV’s “Rocket Complex;” and was featured on Oita Asahi Broadcasting’s “SOLD OUT” POWER PLAY ARTIST.
